Hermiston Aquatic Center Positions
The Hermiston Aquatic Center is currently accepting applications for the following summer positions. Please download and complete the attached application. Applications are due by April 8.
| Job Title: | Lead Cashier |
| Purpose of position: | Under the direction of the Pool Manager and Assistant Pool Manager, perform customer service and cash handling responsibilities. Recommended Certifications: Lifeguarding, CPR, First Aid, Food Handlers. |
| Job Title: | Lead Lifeguard |
| Purpose of position: | Under the direction of the Pool Supervisor and Assistant Pool Supervisor, perform assistance, training and supervision to lifeguards and pool aides, as required. Perform public safety work in preventing injuries in the municipal pool facility. Recommended Certifications: Lifeguarding, CPR, First Aid, Water Safety Instructor, Food Handlers. |

| Purpose of position: | Under the direction of the Assistant Pool Supervisor and Lead Lifeguard, perform public safety work in preventing injuries in the municipal pool facility. Recommended Certifications: Lifeguarding, CPR, First Aid, Food Handlers. |

| Purpose of position: | Under the direction of the Assistant Pool Manager and all Lead Positions, perform customer service and cleaning responsibilities. Recommended Certifications: Lifeguarding, CPR, First Aid, Food Handlers. |

| Purpose of position: | Under the direction of the Assistant Pool Manager and Lead Concessions perform food and cash handling responsibilities. Recommended Certifications: Lifeguarding, CPR, First Aid, Food Handlers. |

| Purpose of position: | Under the direction of the Pool Manager and Assistant Pool Manager, perform food and cash handling responsibilities. Recommended Certifications: Lifeguarding, CPR, First Aid, Food Handlers. |
| Job Title: | Water Safety Instructor |
| Purpose of position: | Under the direction of the Assistant Pool Supervisor and Lead Water Safety Instructor, instruct swim lessons and/or perform public safety work in preventing injuries in the municipal pool facility. Recommended Certifications: Lifeguarding, CPR, First Aid, Water Safety Instructor, Food Handlers. |
| Job Title: | Pool Maintenance Assistant |
| Purpose of position: | Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor and Assistant Manager, perform daily maintenance tasks as required by health regulations. Recommended Certifications: Lifeguarding, CPR, First Aid, Food Handlers. |
