Hermiston Police News - Traffic stop leads to arrests
On the 27th of August 2011, at approximately 3:30 AM, a black 2004 Ford Mustang with Oregon registration ZBF654 was stopped for careless driving. Officers of the Hermiston Police Department contacted the occupants in the 300 block of E Dogwood Avenue.
The driver was identified as Adan Tejeda 26 years of age of 2020 N. Townsend Road, Hermiston. Tejeda was taken into custody and charged with Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants, and Careless Driving.
The remaining occupants in the vehicle were also charged with the following:
Eduardo Ibarra 19 years of age of 111 W. Beebe Ave, Hermiston with Minor in Possession of Alcohol
A 14 year old male of 320 SW 7th Street, Hermiston with Minor in Possession of Alcohol and Curfew violation
A 15 year old male of 1036 W Hermiston Ave, Hermiston with Minor in Possession of Alcohol and Curfew violation
A 15 year old male of 925 W Ridgeway Ave #29, Hermiston with Minor in Possession of Alcohol and Curfew violation
A check of the vehicle resulted in several cans of spray paint being located. Subsequent investigation the following day resulted in the additional charges:
Adan Tejeda was charged with (3) counts of Unlawfully Applying Graffiti, (3) counts of Unlawful Possession of a Graffiti Implement, and (3) counts of Criminal Mischief in the Third Degree.
The 14 year old was charged with (7) counts of Unlawfully Applying Graffiti, (3) counts of Unlawful Possession of a Graffiti Implement, and (7) counts of Criminal Mischief in the Third Degree. His parent, Regina Corpus was cited for Failure to Supervise a Child.
The 15 year old of 1036 W Hermiston Ave was charged with (7) counts of Unlawfully Applying Graffiti, (3 ) counts of Unlawful Possession of a Graffiti Implement, and (7) counts of Criminal Mischief in the Third Degree. His parent, Amalia Navarrete was cited for Failure to Supervise a Child.
The 15 year old of 925 W Ridgeway #29 was charged with (7) counts of Unlawfully Applying Graffiti, (3) counts of Unlawful Possession of a Graffiti Implement, and (7) counts of Criminal Mischief in the Third Degree. His parent, Olga Espain was cited for Failure to Supervise a Child.
