Regular Meeting

Mayor Severson called the regular meeting to order at 7:00 pm and declared a quorum present. Present were Councilors Hardin, Misner, Davis, Springer, Myers, Calame and Harkenrider. Councilor Harn was excused. Staff members in attendance were City Manager Brookshier, City Attorney Luisi, Clint Spencer, Dan Coulombe, Judge Creasing, Ron Sivey, Ivan Anderholm and Donna Moeller. News media present was Jennifer Colton of the Hermiston Herald.

Minutes

Councilor Hardin moved and Councilor Myers seconded that minutes of the April 26 regular meeting be approved for filing. Motion carried unanimously.

April Expenditures

Councilor Myers moved and Councilor Misner seconded to approve payment of the following April expenditures: $479,508.67 General; $48,235.47 State Tax Street; $5,141.28 Transient Room Tax; $196,020.07 Utilities; $46,310.78 911 Communications; $464,629.94 Energy Services; $22,316.00 Revolving Loan; $12,241.69 Regional Water; $2,513.94 WWTP Construction Fund; total $1,276,917.84. Motion carried unanimously.

Minutes

Councilor Hardin moved and Councilor Davis seconded that minutes of the April 26 contract review committee to declare surplus property and minutes of the April 7 library board meeting be approved for filing. Motion carried unanimously.

Approve Easement Agreement/Hermiston Irrigation District/Riverfront Park

Councilor Davis moved and Councilor Misner seconded to approve an Easement Agreement for the Hermiston Irrigation District irrigation system for Riverfront Park. Motion carried unanimously.

Council Comments

Councilor Harkenrider reported on the City of Stanfield 100th year celebration... Councilor Hardin stated the Hermiston Airport open house last Saturday was well attended.

There was no other business, and the meeting was adjourned at 7:10 pm.
