Highland Park Playground Dedication & Neighborhood Work Party

Release Date:

Highland Park Playground Dedication - A Huge Success!

Thank you Highland Park Neighbors for braving the cold windy weather on February 25 to help spread wood chips and officially open the playground for public use. The Work Party and Playground Dedication of Highland Park at 134 NE 13th St. was a huge success with over 70 people in attendance.

Council member Michael Calame and Parks & Recreation Committee Chairman, Eric Reise provided the ribbon cutting and thanked the neighborhood for their effort and involvement in developing the park.  Immediately after the shovel, rake, and wheel barrow work was complete, the neighborhood kids enjoyed the new playground.
