Family Promise Update

Pastor James met with Stephanie Evans about setting up the financial records. There still is additional work to be done. The 501C3 has to be completed. Pastor James and Pastor Dean will meet to get that completed.

Pastor James has contacted a couple of people regarding the possibility of writing some grants to maintain our funding.

Kriss Dammeyer has trained six mentors, two of which are active. She is planning another training to train three to five more mentors.  Kriss met with DHS and will report on that meeting in our upcoming meeting.  We need to contact the city to find what level of funding will be available for the 2017-18 budget.

Pastor James plans to update the council regarding Family Promise . The next meeting was scheduled for June 6, 2017.

There was no other business. Pastor Dean Hackett adjourned the meeting in prayer at 5:25 p.m.
