Library Board - Minutes

Wed., Feb. 22, 2017

Board Member called the meeting to order at 4:09.  Members present were,  Kay Bennett, Nancy Brown, Anne Doherty. Mark Rose,  Library Director, Doug Smith City Council Liaison, was also present.

The minutes of the January 25, 2017 meetings were approved with corrections.

Unfinished Business

Board By-Laws – City Council approved the changes at their February 13 meeting.

A board photo has yet to be scheduled, board members will be notified when it is scheduled.

The new copier/printer equipment has not yet arrived to be installed.

New Business

No new business requiring board action was discussed..

Librarian's Report

A copy of Library newsletter Library Adventure – March was distributed to the Board.

The next Friends of the Library meeting will be May 10 at 6:00 pm.  Friends willing to work as organization officers will need to attend, if not the organization may be dissolved.

Next years budget is due to the City on March 17th, needs such as expected costs of conducting strategic planning will be included.

The meeting was adjourned at 4:53.
