National Night Out - August 2, 2011

The Hermiston Police Department cordially invites the residents of Hermiston to participate in the National Night Out on Tuesday, August 2, 2011. 

On this evening, neighborhoods across Hermiston will join thousands of communities throughout the nation to host special community events, such as block parties, cookouts, ice cream socials, flashlight walks, youth activities and anti-crime rallies. From 6 to 8 PM, participating residents lock their doors, turn on the outside lights and spend the evening outside!

The purpose of the National Night Out is multi-faceted, but the primary goal is to raise awareness regarding crime and drug prevention. If you would like to participate, download, print and return the participation form to Crime Prevention Officer Erica Franz at the Hermiston Police Department. (Return address/contact information is included in the form.
