Riverfront Park

Riverfront Park

One of two community parks in Hermiston and the second-largest park in Hermiston at 16 acres, Riverfront Park was developed in 2005. Located adjacent to the Umatilla River, it is a popular place for fitness enthusiasts because of its three-quarter mile walking path that loops around the entire park and connects to the Oxbow Trail, a 1.5 mile trail that continues northwest of the park. On the south end of the park, the trail connects to Steelhead Park and continues along the Highland Trail, east towards Hermiston city limits.

In 2023, renovations were completed after two devastating floods prompted the relocation of the parking lot and playground to be out of the floodway. The park includes playground equipment, picnic areas, benches and restrooms.
