Volunteers from Shearer’s Food will be teaming up with the Hermiston Parks and Recreation staff on Saturday, Nov. 19th to install playground equipment in Highland Summit Park. This is the first phase of the conceptual design that was originally developed with neighborhood involvement. Other phases of the project will eventually include a restroom with drinking fountain, permanent seating, and low-light bollard security lighting with an inner perimeter walkway.

The City of Hermiston would like to “Thank” the employees at Shearer’s for their great efforts to help us improve our great community.
