Notice of Public Hearing Planning Commission December 13, 2023 Major Variance MonteVista Homes 4N2802A Tax Lot 500 - 811 E Theater Lane

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Hermiston Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on December 13, 2023, at or after 7:00 PM at City Hall, 180 NE 2nd St Hermiston, Oregon. The purpose of the hearing is to consider a request from Jarred Corbell of MonteVista Homes for a variance from Sections 154.18  and 154.19 (C) of the Hermiston Code of Ordinances which establishes the maximum block lengths and lot widths in residential zones. The applicant requests approval to allow lot widths of 55 to 58 feet for nineteen lots and four blocks with a length of approximately 800 feet within the proposed subdivision. The property is described as 4N2802A Tax Lot 500 and is located at 811 E Theater Lane. The property is owned by the Hermiston Irrigation District and is zoned Medium-High Density Residential (R-3).
