NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Hermiston Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on the 8th day of September, 2021 at or after 7:00 p.m. at the Community Center, 415 S Hwy 395, Hermiston, Oregon. The purpose of the hearing is to consider a request for approval of an application to allow a conditional use permit from Tricia Mooney, Superintendent of Hermiston School District #8R.
The applicant seeks approval to allow construction of a two-story, thirteen classroom, 22,800 square foot addition to the high school campus, two additional greenhouses, and expansion of the existing north parking lot. The request is defined as a conditional use and requires approval from the Planning Commission subject to the provisions for a conditional use permit. The property is located at 600 S First St. It is also described as 4N 28 10DD Tax Lot 300. The property is zoned Medium Density Residential (R-2).
