Artists Invited to Enter Funland Playground Contest

The City of Hermiston is looking for local artists of any age to help design a cutout portrait display for the Latino Heritage section of the new Funland Playground. The display will be between 4-6 feet tall and become a long-term feature of the new playground.

Entries will be reviewed by the Hispanic Advisory Committee and Parks and Recreation Department, and the artist's name will be displayed with the final installation.

Requirements:

• Features two or more characters with face cutouts
• Embodies Latino culture
• Must be original artist creation, not an online or reproduced image
• Physical print entries must be no larger than 11 inches by 11 inches 
• Include your name and contact information with your submission
• Submissions are due by Tuesday, December 15
