Community invited to parks master plan open house

The City of Hermiston is updating its Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Master Plan. The update began in July 2019 and is on track to be completed in April.

The City gathered information and ideas from residents through an online survey, several pop-up events, and stakeholder interviews to learn more about what parks and recreation facilities the City can improve or provide in the future.

The City invites interested community members to attend an open house to provide feedback on the key recommendations in the plan update. Presentations will be in English and Spanish.

When: Postponed Until Further Notice

Where: Hermiston Community Center 415 S Hwy 395 

Following the open house, updates to the plan will be completed before the City seeks plan adoption in April 2020.
