Hermiston airport with planes and helicopters on runway

The Hermiston Municipal Airport (HRI) is classified as a core, Category 3 Regional General Aviation airport.  It is part of the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems.  Runway 5/23 is 4500 feet long by 75 feet wide.  It has a full length parallel taxiway, pilot controlled medium intensity runway lights, a rotating beacon, and PAPI and REIL's on Runways 5/23.

There is 24-Hour Self-Serve 100LL, and Jet-A with Prist.  There is on-field aircraft maintenance through Gorge Aviation Services.  There are two courtesy cars, including a passenger van capable of comfortably carrying 6 full-sized adults with luggage, which can be reserved.  Tie downs are available.

The City of Hermiston owns the Hermiston Airport, and all 266 acres where it is located, and has a contract with Gorge Aviation to run day-to-day operations at the airport.  There is ample room to expand additional hangar space, aviation-related commercial hangars, and non-aviation related commercial and light industrial uses.  See a copy of the Airport Master Plan, as well as the layout for the Hermiston Airport Business Park on this page.
