Clothes Washer or Dryer Rebates
For the purchase of a qualifying Energy Star rated clothes washer or dryer, you can receive a $100 rebate per appliance from HES. To receive the rebate, submit completed application, receipt, verification of brand, and the model and serial number online at https://www.umatillaelectric.com/energy-efficiency/residential-rebates/clothes-washer-dryer-rebate/ , bring to 750 W. Smart Thermostat Rebate
Get a smart thermostat directly shipped to you and a $100 instant rebate by purchasing it at HES Instant Smart Thermostat Rebate . Home must be electrically heated to be eligible for instant rebate.
Want a different thermostat? HES will pay you $100 if you install a smart thermostat that is on the BPA Qualified Products list (PDF). Level 2 EV Charger Rebate
For the purchase of a qualifying Energy Star rated Level 2 EV Charger, you can receive a $200 rebate from HES. Heat Pumps Rebates
Heat pumps use 40 to 50 percent less energy than standard electric furnaces, providing more even heating and cooling. HES has a heat pump program through local participating installers that can help you save on energy costs all year long. Your new heat pump could qualify for a HES rebate up to $1000. Weatherization Rebates
Your home may be leaking air, leading to higher electric heating and cooling bills with less efficiency. HES offers valuable information on how weatherizing your home can give you substantial energy savings cost and pay up to 50% of the weatherization cost. Heat Pump Water Heater Rebate
Are you looking to save money on your electric bill? A heat pump water heater is an efficient way to heat water for your home while saving on energy costs.
Now through Aug. 30, you can have a heat pump water heater professionally installed by a licensed plumber for just over the cost of the unit, saving up to $900 through an instant rebate offered by Hermiston Energy Services.

NEEM Home Rebate
Due to the increasing demand for energy-efficient housing, the state energy offices and the manufactured home industry created the Northwest Energy Efficient Manufactured Housing Program (NEEM). For the purchase of a qualifying NEEM Home, you can receive a $1000 rebate from HES. To receive the rebate, submit a completed application, Energy Star Certificate of Compliance and purchase/sales receipt to 750 W. Elm Avenue or mail it to HES at P.O. Box 1148, Hermiston, OR 97838. Commercial Rebate Program
The Commercial Sector is generally defined as non-manufacturing business establishments, including hotels, motels, restaurants, wholesale businesses, retail stores, and health, social, and educational institutions. Our program offers incentives for verified energy savings to commercial customers looking to make efficiency improvements or upgrades to their facilities.
