Hermiston Police News: Business Trespass Enforcement Program Works

On the 28th of December 2013 at approximately 8:17 PM, Hermiston Police Department Street Crime Team member Officer Will Jons stopped Malissa J. Bush for trespassing on the property of G & S Tire Factory (535 N. 1st Street) after business hours.

Bush, who provided her current address as 510 E. Catherine Avenue, Hermiston, was the subject of (3) warrants for her arrest.  Bush was processed at the Hermiston Police Department.  Bush was also found to be in possession of approximately 3 ½ pounds of marijuana, a stun gun, and drug paraphernalia. 

Hermiston Police News: Busy Day for HPD

On the 29th of October 2013, at approximately 10:13 AM, the Hermiston Police Department received a report from Maurices clothing store (894 S. Hwy 395) of a female having left the store without paying for merchandise. Store employees were able to provide the license plate of the white Nissan Versa the female left in.

Hermiston Police News: Interagency Cooperation

On the 18th of September 2013, at approximately 10:13 AM, the Hermiston Police Department received a call from the Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office dispatch center, making us aware of (2) males that tried to pawn/sell questionable items in Pendleton.

Hermiston Police News: Felon Arrested with Firearm

On the 8th of September 2013, at approximately 1:55 PM, members of the Hermiston Police Department responded to 1735 NE 2nd Street after one of our officers located a stolen vehicle at this residence.  The vehicle had been reported stolen by the Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office.

Hermiston Police News: Ayers Arrested Again

On the 7th of September 2013, at approximately 5:45 AM, the Hermiston Police Department arrested Jeremiah Ayers yet again, this time inside a vehicle not belonging to him.  Ayers, 23 years of age, of 150 NE 8th Place, Hermiston, was arrested in the 600 block of NE Willow Court after an observant citizen noticed someone inside his vehicle parked in his driveway. 

Hermiston Police News: Arrest Log Correction

Jeremy Conrad Carlson (42 yo) was in this morning to advise that he was not arrested on 08-24-13, as was sent out in our arrest log for that date.  After looking into the arrest, it was determined that in fact, Jeremy Conrad Carlson was not the subject arrested.  We arrested the following person:

Charge:  Menacing

Hermiston Police News: Stolen Vehicle Chop Shop Identified

On the 25th August 2013, at approximately 11:15 PM, members of the Hermiston Police Department conducted a “knock and talk” at 1735 NE 2nd Street in Hermiston after receiving information about a possible stolen vehicle being at the residence. It should be known this residence is surrounded by houses within the city limits yet it remains outside the city limits. Approximately 2 months ago, we requested assistance from the Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office with regard to the numerous code violations visible from the street.

Hermiston Police News: Zero Tolerance for (5) from out of town

On the 17th of August 2013, at approximately 8:40 PM, members of the Hermiston Police Department were dispatched to the 800 block of West Hermiston Ave on a report of several males threatening people in the area.  Additional witnesses stated the males were leaving the area in a silver sedan.

Hermiston Police News: Gregory A. White Captured

On August 13, 2013, an observant citizen recognized Mr. White at 10AM in the lounge of a local restaurant and called the Hermiston Police Department. 

Mr. White was charged and lodged on the applicable crimes from the pursuit last week as well as a charge of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine. 


Hermiston Police News: Hermiston PD looking for Father after Pursuit

On the 6th of August 2013, at approximately 3:35 PM, members of the Hermiston Police Department were dispatched to the area of North 1st Place and W. Geer Road on a report of a small child operating a motorcycle in/around the train tracks.  Officers arrived in the area of North 1st Place and W. Elm Ave and attempted to contact what appeared to be an adult male and a juvenile male both on motorcycles on Union Pacific Railroad property.
