Jackie has one daughter and two grandchildren, and enjoys taking time to garden and travel. Jackie graduated from Hermiston High School, has been a licensed tax preparer for over 25 years, and has participated in many city committees since 1994.

Jackie was elected in 1994 and became involved in city government because there was a lot of development in her ward and she wanted to be involved in the process.
